About the event
This class is for people that have a baoFeng (or similar) hand held HAM radio and wish to learn how to program them "by hand" for access to, and though, public repeaters as well as setting up your radio(s) for simplex.
The class will be based on eh BaoFeng BF-F8TD and similar radios (eg. UV-5R, etc).
In addition, there will be an opportunity at the end of the class to have your radio automatically programed for some local repeater stations. The ability to program radios will depend on software compatibility and availaility of the required hardware.
